Preparations for the journey

It took a long time. There were lengthy discussions with Abercrombie and Kent, with programs and itineraries going back and forth, then checking with health people for innoculations needed. And finally there was the visa to Kenya. Oh dear, the visa to Kenya. They lost our passports. There was much excitement for days until they found them. Then there's security issues, camera things, clothing. It goes on and on. But eventually, here I am a couple of weeks out, preparing this blog for what I hope will be an adventure -- Victoria Falls for our anniversary, ballooning over the Masai Mara while the wildebeest migration is on, a stay in the Okavango delta. Should be wonderful. I hope.
